For many years I would spend about $60 to $80 on my winter boots and do this every year. They were okay and got me through the winter although being cold, uncomfortable and constantly wet. I believe it was about 15 years ago, shortly after they opened that I stopped in to examine their winter boots and ended up purchasing a very stylish pair of insulated waterproof boots made in Canada that would accommodate my wide calf. Now, I still wear these boots and take them back every year where they polish them and apply an application of waterproofing for a modest $15. I initially spent twice what I usually do for a pair of boots but my feet and I thank them daily from December to March for their outstanding quality footwear.
